Like everything in our world, it is centered on Do Good & Have Fun! It is our philosophy that women who spend their lives giving need a weekend to relax and receive! Sprinkled throughout the weekend, from arrival to departure, are one-of-a-kind gifts made just for you!
But beyond receiving things, you’ll leave having received inspiration and hopefully an eagerness to carry what you felt out into the world and spread good vibes...
Even through our shared experiences of hearing women share their stories of challenges and triumphs, participating in 1,000 Acts of Peace, and enjoying the abundant amount of adventures and workshops, what everyone takes away is unique and personal to them.
It is a fantastic thing that you inevitably find what you need…new friendships, perhaps a course correction down a more beneficial path, connections to health professionals you didn’t know you needed, professional relationships to help build your network, an introduction to an exciting new hobby…it truly is limitless!
Expect to be surprised and delighted!

Our camp spirit is in action before and during the Fall Retreat, and you will feel the power of taking action to help others. There are several fun ways we support our Charity Partners… A Live and Silent Auction, shopping the Charity Bow-tique, and action-packed fundraising efforts Saturday night for those who feel inclined.
Our ACTION for good creates the FUN and bonds the Sisters, both at Camp and in the community.
Join us and see for yourself what everyone has been talking about!
La Foret is a non-profit conference and retreat center. Providing sanctuary to consider the transcendent issues of life...It is situated on 400 beautiful wooded acres in the heart of Black Forest, Colorado.
130+ women stuffed 1,000 bags full of needed supplies for those experiencing homelessness in the Colorado Springs area. They were distributed to 5 charities, Homeward Pikes Peak, Pikes Peak United Way, Westside Cares, Partners in Housing, Springs Rescue Mission, and Urban Peak.
Throughout the weekend there were several speakers who had us enthralled in there messages, and although every one of them brought their unique perspective and personal journey to what they shared the overwhelming consensus showed us the importance of telling our stories, but at the same time to never dismiss the power of listening to those around us. When we listen we learn.
Everyone had the chance to do one of a kind adventures, relax and take in the great outdoors, spend time with old friends, and meet new women they could build lasting relationships with.
With so much ‘Having Fun’ going on it can be easy to overlook how much ‘Doing Good’ is also happening. Our Fall Retreats are centered around raising money and awareness for charities near and dear to our hearts, and we try to make this as fun and engaging as possible for everyone there.
Throughout the year we raised over $26,000 in cash and in-kind donations to support the 1,000 Acts of Peace activity. By shopping the Bow-tique, signing up for spa services, participating in fundraising games, and finding the power in the purse, our sisters at camp raised over $28,500 over the weekend! Bringing our total for the year to $54,500.
