|Dr. Sharry Veres|
Dr. Veres is a board-certified, full-spectrum Family Physician, who joined the St. Anthony North Residency program in August 2012.
She is originally a Western Washington Native, and received her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine. After medical school, she headed for sunnier skies, and completed her residency in Family Medicine at St. Joseph’s Hospital, in Phoenix, Arizona.
Dr. Veres has also completed a Masters in Health Sector Management from the W.P. Carey Business School at Arizona State University. Dr. Veres has teaching, administrative and curriculum design experience as a residency teaching faculty and faculty member of a medical college. She has received competitive research funding for practice-based research and clinical decision-making in cancer screening. Her clinical areas of interest include healthcare for culturally diverse and underserved populations, behavioral health integration in ambulatory care, and both performing and teaching outpatient procedures.
Dr. Veres is happy to be in Colorado, close to the mountains and all the fantastic biking/running trails. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three small children.
